AB&C, a locally owned and operated full-service marketing communications firm, has been in business since 1971. The company was founded when three Wilmington businessmen, including John Clark Hawkins, decided to start their own advertising agency. They used their middle names to avoid embarrassment in case their new venture went belly up. Thirty-seven years later, we’re still going strong.

At the heart of AB&C is a staff of experts and support people who enjoy working together to solve marketing problems. Collectively, we represent a wide range of experience and individual expertise in research, strategy, writing, design, public relations, media placement, Internet technology and production.
