| Bob Travers , Principal Bob Travers brings over 25 years marketing communications experience to Travers Collins & Company. His experience working on a variety of local, regional and national accounts including Dawn Food Products, Corning Inc., United Way, Paul William Beltz, Mental Health Association and Rich Products gives him the ability to analyze client needs and provide critical insight into the strategies and tactical programs for all advertising accounts at Travers Collins & Company. Bob is active in the community sitting on the board of the United Way of WNY, The Cantalician Center for Learning, CEPA Gallery, The Mental Health Association of WNY and the WNY United Foundation Board. In 2003 Bob was honored with the David I. Levy Communicator of the Year award given by the Professional Communicators of Western New York in recognition of his achievement in the industry. | William Collins, Principal Bill Collins offers clients a wide range of experience and contacts gained through more than 20 years of public relations practice in Western New York. Bill joined a Buffalo advertising agency in late 1976, following graduation from St. Bonaventure University. In 1982, he established Collins & Company as the firm's public relations division. Since that time he has counseled clients in virtually every category of business and been involved behind the scenes with many of the community's most memorable and important events. Bill, an accredited member (APR) of the Public Relations Society of America, served as an instructor in public relations for four years at the State University of Buffalo. He has served on and, in many cases, chaired numberous boards and committees for both industry and community organizations, including the YMCA, Catholic Charities, The Children's Guild, St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, the Buffalo Renaissance Foundation and Professional Communicators of WNY. Bill serves on the board of directors for Sisters Hospital Foundation, the Bishop's Lay Council, Medaille College and the United Way of WNY. In 1992, he was named to Business First's 40 Under 40 ranking of the Buffalo's leaders under the age of 40, in 1995 was named PRSA's Western New York Practitioner of the Year, and in 1999 Bill was honored with the David I. Levy Communicator of the Year award given by the Professional Communicators of Western New York in recognition of his achievement in the industry. |
