We are doing our part for Haiti

We asked the agency members of TAAN to donate just $100 to the relief effort in support of the people of Haiti. 30 member agencies, from 20 countries, came through with at least the amount we requested, and a couple gave even more.
I presented our check this morning to the Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund representative here in Massachusetts. The organization was very grateful for our contribution.
We all realize that our contribution is only a small portion of what will be needed for the recovery efforts. Our check is given with the knowledge that every dollar given means so much to those in need.
Thank you to all the TAAN members that contributed to our collective donation.
Also thank you to all the TAAN folks that sent donations directly to a number of charitable organizations around the world that are helping.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all the people of Haiti.
